                      The photovoltaic and thermal solar panels use the sun's energy to produce respectively electricity and heat.

                      Inside the building, the solar panels are connected precisely to the rest of your                       domestic hot water and heating or electricity installation.

                      These connections are conveniently made by an authorized installer.

Connections of a solar thermal system

Installing solar panels can help you:

to heat water;

to heat the dwelling;

to provide heating and hot water: it is a combined system.

The solar heating system in your home is made (in the order of connection):

thermal solar panels that heat the heat transfer fluid;
a heat transfer fluid distribution system;
optionally a thermal regulator;
a storage device of the hot water, such as a balloon;
in the case of a solar water heater: a piping system to distribute hot water;
in the case of a solar heating: heat emitters, such as radiators or a hot slab;
in the case of a combined system: both.

Connections: no storage for solar photovoltaic

Photovoltaic solar panels installed on a roof or facade, are connected to the remainder of the electrical system, located inside the building. It consists of (in order of connection):

a controller: it monitors the battery charge state, which is a priority in the circuit, and protect the facility;

an inverter: it transforms the electrical current produced, which is continuously usable alternating current in the building. It also secures the facility in case of power off. In a life of 8 to 10 years, it should be placed as close to the panels;

electrical housing taken.

You can not connect to battery on the system. The electricity generated and not used can not be stored. This is why it is interesting to sell the surplus to the public electricity network.

Connections: very simple for campers

Install a photovoltaic solar panel on the roof of an RV can charge the battery using solar energy. You can choose to install this solar panel yourself by buying a kit.
Simply connect the solar panel to the service battery of the camper. Is installed between a charge regulator and optionally an inverter. You can also install a second battery.

Connections: a "heating pump" for pools

You can increase by several degrees the temperature of your pool by installing a solar thermal panel. The connection is very simple, and there are mounting kits available to all.
The solar thermal system for pool connects to the filter pump, then:
a check valve prevents the reflux;
a 3-way valve controls the water access to the solar panel;
pipe heated water return to the pool.
If you want to add an automatic control system, connect to the filter pump (in order of connection):
a flow controller;
the controller;
a probe which controls the temperature of water;
a pump ;
thermal panels and pipes.
