The switch is a mechanical switching device having one rest position and one working position.Its function:
IT is capable of making, carrying and breaking currents in normal circuit conditions, including conditions of overload in service.
The interest of the contactor is to be remotely controlled.

The poles are the contacts that allow to establish and interrupt the current in the power circuit. The pole is defined by the nominal current and voltage characteristic in the switch portion.
Instantaneous auxiliary contacts:
The auxiliary contacts inserted in the control circuit are provided for self supply, the drives, locking switches in equipment.
There are two types of contacts:
- The make contacts <F>
- The opening contacts <0>.
These contacts can withstand currents of 5 to 10 A. They can be mounted in a variable number of the contactors.
electro magnet:
Is composed of a copper winding and a laminated magnetic circuit composed a fixed part and a mobile part.
I When the electromagnet is energized the coil carrying alternating current creates a magnetic field channeled by the magnetic circuit causing the approximation of the movable part and thus closing the contacts.
Accessories:
Timed auxiliary units:
They contain auxiliary contacts timed. They open or close a or more contacts with an adjustable delay.
If the place to delay after the pre actuator supply on which they are dependent, there will be a delay at work.
If the location in delay after switching off the pre actuator on which they are
dependent, it will be a time to rest
Device conviction mechanical:
Tis apparatus allowed simultaneous engagement of two juxtaposed switch.
